wir möchten Ihnen hiermit mitteilen, dass durch die Hauptversammlung am 04.10.2023 beschlossen wurde, die PEFC Chain-of-Custody Beiträge (PEFC-CoC-Beiträge) ab dem 01.01.2024 um 8,6% (Inflationsrate 2022) zu erhöhen.
Dieser Schritt ist notwendig, um sicherzustellen, dass wir auch weiterhin den Unternehmen der Wertschöpfungskette Holz die bestmöglichen Dienstleistungen und Unterstützung bieten können.
Zusätzlich möchten wir festhalten: Mit 01.01.2024 werden die bisherigen, reduzierten Beiträge des Holzhandels schrittweise angehoben, mit dem Ziel, alle Unternehmen entlang der Chain of Custody mit 01.01.2025 auf ein, für alle PEFC-CoC-Unternehmen, neues und einheitliches Schema umzustellen. Dieser schrittweise Prozess ist entscheidend, um Gleichheit für alle Unternehmen zu gewährleisten. Es erfolgt daher eine Erhöhung um 50% der aktuellen Beiträge des Holzhandels. Für 2024 wird beim Holzhandel aufgrund dieser Erhöhung im Gegenzug die oben genannte Inflationsanpassung ausgesetzt.

Mit dieser Beitragsanpassung tragen Sie wesentlich zur Sicherung der nachhaltigen Waldbewirtschaftung und Holzverarbeitung bei, wofür wir uns seitens PEFC Austria herzlich bedanken möchten.

we would like to inform you that, as resolved by the General Assembly on October 4th, 2023, the PEFC Chain-of-Custody fees (PEFC-CoC-fees) will increase by 8.6% (2022 inflation rate) starting from January 1st, 2024.
This step is necessary to ensure that we can continue to provide the best possible services and support to the businesses in the wood value chain.
Additionally, we would like to inform that starting from January 1st, 2024, the current reduced fees in the wood trade will be gradually increased with the aim of transitioning all companies in the Chain of Custody to a new and uniform scheme by January 1st, 2025. This process is essential to ensure equality for all companies. Therefore, there will be an increase of 50% in the current fee system for the wood trading sector. However, for 2024, due to this increase, the previously mentioned inflation adjustment will be suspended for the wood trade.
